Greetings, my name is Dwayne. I am a believer in Christ. I currently participate with the Uniontown Bible Church Worship Ministry playing electric guitar and helping in any capacity I can. The ministry team is made up of many talented musicians, vocalists and technical support personnel who God has assembled for His glory. What an honor it is that God has given me such talent that I can use it to help lead His people to worship.
When I consider that my life was so filled with my pursuit of worldly possessions and my willingness to sacrifice family, friendships and morals, to achieve my goals, I am amazed that God would have ever chosen me for the life I now have. As I grow in my faith, I become more and more amazed at all of the things God has done for me and for us. He has given a way for my sins to be covered, he has allowed me to move beyond the shame of my past and into to the hope of spending eternity in His presence. What an awesome thought!!!
Will I ever know just how awesome God really is until I am in His presence? Think for a moment when you have truly made that spiritual connection during a worship service. Everything around you becomes so meaningless, time becomes non-existent, and your entire spiritual being suddenly has purpose, you feel alive. Tears of joy push out from you yet your eyes close, searching for a glimpse of what you are feeling. You begin to give praises. Could we really be in the presence of God? In a small building in Carroll County, I have felt the awesome power of God. He is everywhere.
